IRONTOWN is an onchain idle mining game built on the Solana blockchain. Players hire miners, send them into the mine, and earn a fixed daily $IRON reward based on each miner's Mining Production Rate (MPR).
IRONTOWN is built around one simple objective: Build the strongest mining operation in town.
Players hire miners with different rarities and production rates. Once deployed to the mine, each miner contributes its MPR to the player's total production power.
Each miner you deploy earns its own fixed daily $IRON reward based on its MPR -- boosted further by your Mini Mine level and any equipped Exploration Gear.
Growing in IRONTOWN isn't only about hiring more miners. Through the Exploration system, miners have a chance to discover Exploration Pieces after each mining run โ permanent gear that boosts a miner's MPR or Mining Speed.
Miners are the heart of IRONTOWN. Every miner has a Mining Production Rate (MPR) that represents their digging power. Higher-tier miners provide more MPR and a bigger fixed daily $IRON reward.
The mine is where your miners work. Miners must be deployed to participate in active production.
Once working, each eligible miner contributes its MPR toward your total production power. A mining run takes 24 hours by default -- claim once it finishes, then start the next run manually.
Every player has their own Mini Mine, upgradeable through 5 levels. Each level costs $IRON and MPR, and gives:
MPR is the core production stat of IRONTOWN. Every miner contributes a fixed amount of MPR while actively mining, and that MPR converts into a fixed daily $IRON reward for that miner alone -- no competing with other players for a shared pool.
| Miner | MPR | Daily $IRON Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Rookie Miner | 50 | โ 0.0375 SOL |
| Ironhorn Miner | 200 | โ 0.1 SOL |
| Iron Prime | 550 | โ 0.25 SOL |
| Gold Baron | 1,200 | โ 0.5 SOL |
These base amounts can be boosted further by your Mini Mine level and any equipped MPR Exploration Gear.
Your total production power is the combined MPR of all your active deployed miners.
Players can own and deploy multiple miners simultaneously -- each one mines and earns independently.
$IRON is IRONTOWN's in-game reward currency, backed 1:1 by real SOL. Every miner earns a fixed daily $IRON reward based on its tier -- nothing is shared or split with other players.
$IRON rewards accumulate through active gameplay and can be claimed through the IRONTOWN interface. Players manually claim their available rewards to their connected Solana wallet.
The amount of $IRON available to claim depends on:
Every mining trip carries a chance of turning up more than just $IRON. Through the Exploration system, miners have a chance to dig up an Exploration Piece the moment their mining run finishes โ a permanent piece of gear that makes that miner stronger.
Every Exploration Piece has a quality tier. Higher tiers give stronger bonuses, but are rarer to find.
| Quality | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Common | +3% MPR or Speed |
| Uncommon | +7% MPR or Speed |
| Special | +12% MPR or Speed |
| Legendary | +20% MPR or Speed |
Each piece boosts either a miner's MPR (more $IRON per claim) or their Mining Speed (shorter time between claims) โ never both at once.
Every time you claim a finished mining run, that miner has a chance to also dig up a piece. Higher-tier miners find pieces more often, and are also more likely to find a higher-quality one.
| Miner | Chance per Claim |
|---|---|
| Rookie Miner | 6% |
| Ironhorn Miner | 9% |
| Iron Prime | 12% |
| Gold Baron | 16% |
Every miner has two Exploration slots. Pieces must be equipped while a miner is idle โ once a mining run has started, its equipped pieces are locked in for that run and can't be swapped until it's finished.
A miner's own rarity influences both how often it finds pieces and the odds of finding a higher-quality piece. Rarer miners are more likely explorers.
$IRON connects the IRONTOWN reward economy with player progression. Players earn $IRON from their miners' daily rewards and can use it throughout the IRONTOWN ecosystem.
The goal is to create an economy where earning $IRON gives players opportunities to reinvest into their IRONTOWN operation.
The IRONTOWN economy follows a continuous gameplay cycle. Every miner earns for its owner alone โ there's no shared pool to compete over.
Every IRONTOWN player starts somewhere. A small operation might begin with a single Rookie Miner. Over time, players can build toward stronger miners.
There is no single way to build your IRONTOWN operation -- every miner you deploy adds to your own daily $IRON, independent of anyone else's.
The IRONTOWN Marketplace will let players trade eligible miners with other players. All transactions will require confirmation through the player's connected Solana wallet.
Players can invite others to IRONTOWN using their personal referral link. Eligible referrals may provide rewards according to the current referral program.
